“I LIKED THIS KEYBOARD. YESTERDAY, IT QUIT WORKING AND TODAY STILL. NOT WORKING/ I DO NOT LIKE TYPING ON THE iPad”

“I've had the keyboard now for a couple of weeks. I'm faculty at a university and use my iPad Pro for lectures and writing various documents. Last weekend I traveled with it and left my MacBook Pro at home for the first time in years. The keyboard has somewhat changed the way I do things. With the old Apple Smart Keyboard, I would disconnect it when I was teaching. With the Brydge, I leave it in. I've never had any problems with the hinges holding the iPad at my desired angle. The hinges themselves are somewhat big and a little ugly, but they work well. Having now written several lab assignments and a couple of exams, my only real complaint is that the key action is somewhat loud and "clacky" compared to the various Apple keyboards I've used. I would feel somewhat self-conscious using it on an airplane, for example. I'd be much more willing to give 5 stars if it were a little quieter. The Bluetooth connection is pretty reliable. It will occasionally go to sleep, but a couple of keypresses wakes it back up and it connects to the iPad again. It's definitely heavier than the old Smart Keyboard, but not so much to make me want to get rid of it. I'm generally pretty happy with the purchase and like it better than Apple's keyboard so far.”

“Good keyboard that fits perfectly with my iPad Pro. I get nice compliments on my new laptop - then exclamations of surprise when I describe the reality. I use a split Jurry-rigged Speck iPad case/cover to protect the connected set (It would be good if Brydge got a case maker to make a form-fit case).”
