“This product is mediocre at best. I say this because I own another Chinese made keyboard that looks to be the same manufactuer. The keys are the same the paint job is the same...both showing a dry grittiness to them, and a dry feel as if they were spray painted. The difference though on my other Chinese keyboard is that it actually lights up 7 different colors and performs the same, if not better and only cost 50 bucks! Also it closes properly and protects the iPad in it. This Brydge keyboard does not close properly ..there is a huge gap on both the left and right sides after it is closed. The hinges do not fold all the way into the cut outs on the top of the key board...which causes the gap...this could also damage your iPad if you were to put something on top of it that had a little weight to it....it would certainly bend the iPad. I also believe the whole keyboard itself is infact slightly bent already out of the box. There are also sharp edges sticking out around the whole keyboard ..that if they were just a bit sharper you could cut a finger on literally ...maybe under the right circumstance you actually still could. The space grey color clearly does not match ..its close,but not that close...2 very different textured finishes as well. I also can’t believe that no one in this company had enough sense to factor in a friggin screen protector .....apparently you can’t use one or a case either for that matter. My iPad Pro 12.9 is $1200 .. Do you really think I want to use it without any protection at all. I mean really!? How bout at least a screen protector and a matching gel skin style case that covers both the keyboard and the iPad with maybe some cutouts for the hinges...Too much to ask I guess. You guys advertise this thing all over the internet like it’s the “end all be” all of kebards for the tablet. I believe it was on Kickstarter also...right?! I thought this was made where the designers were located..not another design just sourced cheaply from a Chinese factory...I mean $150.... Really?!.. The only significant thing about this is the hinges..because you can fold it flat and pull it right out...but over time I would think pulling it in and out will loosen the hinges as well as start to where on the glass of the device. I mean...Who the hell cares about aluminum if the think is over all, a non symmetrical piece of crap.... You guys didn’t even have enough sense to put a small divot in the front so you can easily open the thing.....good thing for the huge gaps on the side allowing you to do that....I’m sorry but you caught me here at a moment....I’m just telling the truth....I’ll be returning it...Thanks! “Beautiful keyboard. But the left shift key did not produce uppercase Z A Q ~. Tab key was sticking when using my outlook app. Right shift key did not produce the uppercase A. A lag when typing in Outlook. could it get keyboard to work using any native apple apps. Hoping I just got a bad one. Return authorization was approved and waiting on a replacement. Hoping I can change my review when the new one arrives.”
