It gives me a virtual computer but with all the conveniences of an IPad. The iPad functions just as it always has but with the additional qualities fo the keyboard. I couldn’t recommend it an higher.

Good quality keyboard does everything that it should efficiently. Except having a trackpad which it needs, & it will work with gen 2 as I have tried a keyboard with trackpad that suits gen 3 / gen 4 models. It’s a pity. Thanks Eric.

I highly recommend this Keyboard. Before I tell u why I have to take a moment and comment about the customer service and tremendous support I have always received from their customer service lines. I have reached out by phone quick and supportive staff always helpful, have contacted them on chat, phone and e mail now. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist. I have had my Keyboatd just over 3 years now and they have never tried to sell me a new keyboard they simply tried to help me with my existing keyboard. Their prices are bang on what is sold for my iPad pro 12.9 for any other brands in most cases (no pun intended...well kind of) lol. Theirs is far more superior and strong beyond words.and less expensive Customer Service 10/10 and product 10/10.

So, I love this keyboard. I’ve been using it heavily for not quite a week and it’s performed flawlessly. It looks great, it’s sturdy, it does match my space grey iPad Pro perfectly, the hinges work just fine, the action on the keys is great, the backlight is sweet, etc, etc. Really, it was a great purchase. I have no regrets, and I would do it all over again. I should mention that this is in no way a paid review. I’m just doing this because I’m happy with my purchase, and they deserve a good review. So, why only 4 stars, you ask? It’s because I would like to have a companion app that lets me choose how long the timeout is on the keyboard’s Bluetooth connection to the iPad and how long the timeout is on the backlight. Neither are bad. But, I like to choose for myself, and I would prefer to be able to run my keyboard’s battery down faster by increasing the timeout length so I don’t have to hit a key every so often to keep the connection alive and the keyboard’s backlight on. An example of this is when I have to review a document I’m editing and it takes a while before I’m ready to type. The keyboard times out, and I have to hit a key to get it fired back on. Nearly all Bluetooth keyboards have been doing this for years, and I think it has to do with the manufacturer trying to avoid bad reviews on battery life. Just give people the option to choose their power consumption for themselves and give them the usual disclaimers. No big deal. We’re all adults. Just give us a simple table of lab tested drain times during varied settings (in the proposed companion app) and use scenarios and let consumers choose their own configuration as is done on every laptop on earth. That would garner the 5th star for me. Having said that, I would have given it 4.5 stars, if I could have. And, if I had chosen not to give feedback on the fixed timeout firmware setting, I would have given it 5 stars. Hell, I’d give it 6 stars if it came with a better case than what they currently offer of $20 to help protect the back of the iPad. Then again, seeing the two matching space grey metals together is seriously growing on me!
