Just purchased this as I had heard good things, and unfortunately the keyboard (with 256gb drive, at the newly discounted price) is very underwhelming. Biggest issues: extreme/unusable trackpad lag when the hard drive is connected. Seems to work fine with the hard drive disconnected, but that's not terribly useful (even if the discounted price difference is minimal between no HDD and HDD versions. Minor issues: The track pad is also tiny. The glass feel is nice, but its too small to be functional, and very difficult if you like to click and drag with both index fingers--and single finger physical click dragging is not useable given the size and stiffness of the trackpad. Quality control on keyboard lighting is poor--out of the box several keys had dimmed lighting, and the left arrow key has no illumination at all. Unfortunately cost of shipping where I live makes it not worth returning, and I will say that the keyboard itself is quite nice to type on, so it'll just become a "special occasion" keyboard, not my everyday accessory.

Review Beautifully made, totally on par with the best of the best aluminum bodied laptops or tablets. Its sexy as hell and boy is it a joy to use. Keys are responsive with good travel, connectivity is a breeze, trackpad is flawless. So why the ONE STAR REVIEW? I'll tell you why. No matter how beautifully machined a piece of technological genius might be, if it has a significant flaw, it is not only worthless by dangerous. I read many reviews and ignored the ones that claimed that their keyboard damaged their Surface Pros. I figured it was misuse or negligence at best. Boy I wish I had listened to those reviews and saved my Benjamin. My most awesome Surface Pro 6 now has a crack in the bottom corner because of the engineering failure of calculating the PSI on the screen when the tablet is snug in its hinge. This was avoidable just like the Ford Pinto could have avoided placing a gas tank too close to the body. Sure not everyone went kaboom who owned a Pinto, but Ford should have not sold it to the public. I feel that the makers of the Brydge should have known about this flaw and gone back to the engineering stage and done better physics calculations. They are playing the odds and probably succeeding just as Ford survived the Pinto disaster. No lives will be lost with the Brydge keyboard design flaw but I am pissed off that my Surface Pro has a crack that will invariably grow if I use the keyboard again. It is now taking up space on my counter...

I have used and enjoyed it. Slow connecting at times. Tilts over at times. Keys seem slightly light. JO

Love it. My iPad Pro with the Brydge keyboard looks so much like my MacBook Pro I find myself confusing the two and rubbing the area below the keyboard and trying to use a touchpad .

I love the charging cables for my 12.9 keyboard. I have so many black cables to charge phones, ipads, etc. I’m glad I ordered the red........
