Worked right out of the box and easy to setup. A lot more sturdier than the standard surface pro keyboard. Makes it a little more heavier/bulkier but slight inconvenience compared to giving you a true laptop experience.

Pros: - Beautiful design - Battery lasts a very long time - Being able to use the surface pro like a laptop - Good keys, easy to type Cons: - Touchpad is very small - Touchpad bottoms are very hard to click - Connectors put to much pressure on the screen - Customer service After a year and a half, it broke my screen and it will cost me over $475 USD (tax included) to replace it. I contacted Brydge regarding the issue and they replied "we take matters like this very seriously", but it has been 18 days that I don't get any answer from them. How serious is that?

This is my second one. My first was for my Ipad Air and I got lots of compliments. I still use it. I purchased this new brydge keyboard to give my surface pro (work computer) more stability since I like to work on the couch. It was the ideal solution. Keys are great and backlit. The keyboard is sturdy and well constructed, however very heavy. Takes away the cool factor of the surface pro and makes it look like any other laptop.

Great keyboard; I used a ClamCase for years, but the Brydge is even easier. Two problems, though, if items that need to be clicked are at the bottom of the screen you have to pull the keyboard up from the bottom of its “clips” to click and when the iPad is flipped around (not facing the keyboard) the “clips” cover a small part of the screen. Overall, it is functional. Would I buy it again, I don’t know because of the first problem listed.

This is my second Brydge keyboard. My puppy peed on the first one and it died of course. Electronics and water don’t mix well. Sadly, I had to wait until I was back in the USA to replace it because shipping a new one to Indonesia where I was living at the time is really expensive. Specifically, the feel of the keyboard is just as good as if not better than my 2017 Mac Book Pro. It has a backlit keyboard which is really nice. I teach high school and so many of my students want one now that they’ve seen mine.

The only input is where you put the @ key. I still don't know what else to push to activate the @ key at the top left corner of the keyboard

Keyboard is good. Good battery life. Key feel and travel is good. Good keyboard shortcuts and backlight. The hinges are strong and can tilt the tablet back to a low angle without it tipping over. Bluetooth connection is solid and enables use of surface pro on a stand above the keyboard like a mini desktop pc. Couple of improvements would be great: - make wrist rest larger (by moving keys further up toward the hinges) so wrists don't rest on the angular bottom edge of keyboard while typing. - increase size of touch pad. - remove the angular ridge immediately below the spacebar as thumb hits it when typing.
