I really do love my Brydge keyboard for my Surface Pro 4. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because the touchpad is a bit inaccurate. It sometimes takes a little effort to convince it I'm double clicking. I've tried adjusting the mouse sensitivity but that hasn't made much difference. I've read on some of these reviews that people have had trouble with keystrokes not registering or registering twice, or the touchpad registering a right click instead of a left click. I haven't had any of those problems and I type very fast. In fact, when I was using the Surface keyboard cover, I would often get right/left click confusion but I don't with the Brydge. The major reason I got the Brydge is because I like to use my Surface while sitting on the couch or in a soft chair, and the kickstand just did not work for that. I'd have to sit very still with the kickstand on one leg, and be careful not to let the keyboard cover twist or else the keys and touchpad would actually shift a little and not work right. The Brydge solves all of that with a hinge that is stiff enough for the Surface Pro to act like a regular laptop while not on a hard surface. And if I want to just go tablet mode, it pops in and out of the hinges super-easily. Very happy.

Should have made this purchase sooner. I dreaded using my work tablet. Great quality comfortable keyboard feels like my MacBook Pro. Only con would be battery life usually lasts about 6 hours.

Pro's: - The keyboard holds the surface nicely, and the laptop can now sit on my lap - The keys are responsive, feels good when typing Con's: - The track pad is doesn't work great. Most notably, it's tough to right click. There seems to be a very small sweet spot on the track pad that must be pressed in order to right click. It's very difficult to find. - There is no page up/down key, which I use a lot for keyboard shortcuts in excel, chrome, and other programs. I know I can use the function key and press the up arrow, but there is space on the keyboard above the right/left arrow keys; I'm not sure why the page up/down keys weren't included.

A keyboard to make the surface pro to a laptop is a great idea. But there is more room for improvement like how the keys get your order (They are not sharp as the other keyboards and need some improvement) The worst thing I think is the touchpad, it is realllllllllyyyyyyyyyy small and hard to deal with it and always have problems in tracking your taps. I prefer to have a mouse and ignore the touchpad! But still, like it as it really helped me to work with my surface to like a laptop :)

Yes it's a nice piece of kit but be aware that IT DOES NOT TAKE NOTE OF THE Windows 10 "Pinch to zoom" SETTING so you cannot disable zooming. If, like me, your sloppy touchpad activities cause constant zooming and unzooming of the screen you will have to disable the entire touchpad and buy a mouse.
