The keyboard itself is impeccable quality. The fact it's regularly $10 less than the premium/Alcantara Microsoft Surface keyboard is a good price. Getting the Brydge on sale made it a superb deal. The solid aluminum construction has comforting heft. The metal bracketry for the hinges gives me confidence in its longevity. The key strike feel is also high-quality. Even with my large hands, which normally have issues with fitting on a laptop keyboard, the spacing and feel of this keyboard is excellent and a joy to use. My only quibble has to do with the Bluetooth connection. There is some noticeable lag at times, and it will double-strike some letters or single-strike what should be a double letter. Again, not sure there is much Brydge can do about that... kinda the nature of a wireless connection. While it would inhibit the quick-remove tablet functionality, with how I use it I would have preferred a wired connection. Still, overall an excellent piece of hardware. Quite happy with my purchase. Happy I opted for this over the Microsoft keyboard.

The only thing that ever bothered me about my Surface Pro 4 was the inability to use it on my lap or the arm of my couch. The kickstand and floppy keyboard are otherwise fine. The Brydge 12.3 effortlessly solves my problem. In fact, I rarely use the MS keyboard made for it anymore. Plus, it's not draining the already anemic Surface Pro battery. Only wish is that I'd found it sooner.

I bought this for a Surface Pro after doing a lot of research online. Like many of you, I watched a bunch of Youtube videos trying to figure out if I could trust the product. The problem I was trying to solve was that the little kickstand on the Surface Pro, when combined with a floppy keyboard that I bought it with was an invitation to drop the surface Pro if I am typing on my lap, like I am right now. When I pulled it out of the box, I felt like it was exactly what i wanted. Sturdy, stable on my lap, attractive, and it gripped my Surface Pro snugly enough to keep it in place, but not so tight that it was difficult to remove it for use as a tablet. I am not a techie person, but as a computer dummy, I was able to get it to work very well with no trouble at all. The keyboard is really nice to type on. Key travel feels much like my full size laptop. It was instantly familiar to use. Before I even connected it, I was playing with it to see if I would somehow hate it, but was pleasantly surprised to see how easily I adapted to it I really liked the product. I would look for it again if I had a need. I got rid of the Surface Pro shortly after buying it because I wanted a larger screen. Not a fault of Brydge. I will look for another Brydge product as their product line continues to evolve. I also liked that the product came from Utah. I live in Idaho, and it arrived really fast. I did notice that they double packed it and it was suspended inside the package sandwiched between those little air pillows to ensure that it arrived in perfect condition. Thanks Brydge for making a great product and for being so easy to do business with.

It works great the only thing it's a little heavy but all around it is a great device to turn my Microsoft pro from a tablet to a laptop.

I enjoy using the keyboard, although took a little while to get used to the differences in three finger strokes. overall, glad I purchased
