The look and feel of the device are very nice and as others have comemented pairs extremely well with the iPad. The inclusion of the function row is a nice bonus over the Apple Smart Keyboard or Apple Magic Keyboard. My reasoning for the low review is three fold: 1) It takes a really long time to wake up, wake up the iPad, and unlock the iPad. It will generally take 4+ keystrokes for the keyboard get working again. I don’t think I am being impatient, even going so far as to pause between each keypress to see if that helps. Nevertheless, nothing seems to expedite this process. 2) At its core, this is a Bluetooth keyboard. I have used an Apple Magic Keyboard with my iPad since the original came out. The number of keystrokes that are missed by this keyboard, truly is unacceptable. I could chalk it up to the more cramped keyboard space/smaller keys or the difference in key travel, but it seems to drop about 5-10% of my keystrokes. Typing this review on the device was painstaking as I watched auto-correct continuously add in missed characters or need to go back to correct words. I did not experience this with the Magic Keyboard nor other much cheaper Bluetooth keyboards. 3) Given the hinge design, one of the iPad features I use most is now impossible to use without not seating the iPad fully in the hinge. I use split-view constantly, but the hinge design moves the edge of the iPad below the edge of the keyboard, making it extraordinarily difficult to summon the split-view screen. I find myself sliding the iPad up and down in the hinge, which is annoying to say the least, dangerous to say the worst. Lastly, and not a problem with this keyboard but something to keep in mind if you opt to purchase the back case as well: The optional back case does not support using the Apple Smart Cover. It would be a fabulous change to the back cover to remove the approximately 5 mm of case material and allow users to take the iPad out of the keyboard but still protect the screen when not in use. Since this keyboard doesn’t fully rotate, using the iPad as a tablet is cumbersome and having this as an option would be a big positive. I’m sure they have marketing reasons for this design choice, but seems like a missed opportunity. I am 90% sure it will be returned given these issues, which is sad because it seems like a solid alternative to a poorly reviewed Smart Keyboard from Apple or the bulky options from Logitech. But when I am almost $150 invested in the product and having a poor experience, there is nothing else I can justify.

I have the keyboard and case for my iPad Pro 10.5. It is hand down the best out there. Quality and function are superb. You can go through a few cases too find one that you really like and that will last a long time. Skip the headaches. Your search will be over once you get a Brydge. Very happy customer!

I ordered the keyboard and received an email with a tracking number. The product never shipped. I was charged. I’ve written three emails to customer service and have not received a reply.

PURCHASED THE KEYBOARD FOR MY DAUGHTER’S NEW IPad Pro. She loves it. I’ve had one for several years and think it’s great as well.

I really like it. I will buy the net one for the new IPSAD 11” and I hope it has a good idea for the magnetic pen

No where on the description of what I bought did it say I was only getting a keyboard. I typed purchase rose gold mini laptop and they were the first to come up and showed a picture of what looked like a laptop and they don't even sale laptops. It is quite aggrevating. Here it is January 10th and my daughter still doesn't have her Christmas present. To begin with it said 2 to 6 days for shipping and it took 11 days to get to me. I will never order from this company again.
