I bought this a few months ago to use with my iPad Pro 10.5 specifically for note taking in class. The keyboard its self looks and feels great. It matches perfectly with the style of the iPad and really looks like something that would come from straight from Apple. Although, after extensive use I've began to notice some problems with the typing experience. My main issue is the frequent missed keystrokes. The keys only seem to detect a keystroke when you hit them directly in the center with quite a lot of force. This makes typing fast and gaining momentum very difficult as I am always having to backspace to fix errors from keystrokes that were not detected. I have heard this issue has been fixed in the new series II models, but I can not speak for those because I purchased mine a few months before they came out unfortunately.

This review was typed using the Brydge for the 10.5 iPad and unfortunately I m not that impressed with the keys. I am a fairly fast typer and the keys can’t seem t keep up. You’ll fin yourself hitting backspace several times or watching the screen ‘auto-correct’ as you go because it misses several letters. The ones it oesn’t auto-correct will look like some of my typing i’ve just done. I’d like to return this unit as they just came out with a series II. I’ll give that a try an hope it’s better.

I liked my 12.9 iPad keyboard so much, when I recently purchased a 10.5 iPad as a birthday gift for a loved one, I made sure to add this too.

This keyboard really adds to the value of my iPad. Everything from the look to the functionality really surpassed my expectations, so much so that I will make sure I always have one of these cases for any iPad I own in th future.

I got mine and have problems with the keypad as I type by missing key strokes. I am told when the new batch comes in I will get an exchange and then I hope to make this a 5.

The design of Brydge is perfect... I’ve had the first one over 18 months and just bought another for our daughter. However, both keyboards have poor response to striking certsin keys. It is difficult to type quickly when a letter ‘skips’ because the keyboard didn’t respond, and occasionally I must strike the same key multiple times. Still - my previous keyboards came apart after 10 monthhs of daily use, and the Brydge has superior design.

Love it, wish it worked reliably but it doesn't.

I have had my 10.5 keyboard for almost a year and love it. It is just like having your own small imac computer to type on, The only negative I have noticed is the typing process. You have to make sure every stroke is firm so you don’t have to go back and re-type. Other than that.......I love it!
