2nd time I reviewed this...have owned 2...both with problem. Support didn't publish my first review, and I doubt this one will be either. Support sent an email doubting that I actually had a Brydge product, so I sent pictures of the broken hinge, and serial number of the product. Crickets.....no reply back. I am a COO of a bank....directing my IT department to stay away from this brand.

The keyboard itself is nice and feels well made. But if you are like me who likes to use the iPad as an iPad and and then use it as a laptop. This is not for you. It holds the iPad with hinges and if you want to remove it you need to pry it off. Every time you do this, it feels like you are going to break the iPad. If you want to use this as a mac book replacement and never use the iPad alone then this is the keyboard for you.

Very good. Still has same problem as the first one I bought. The rubber padding inside the holding”supports” seem to wear and move easily. This needs work! Otherwise, does perfect. I think this item is overpriced but I feel the functionality is worth the elevated cost

Great product. Having to charge it separately from the iPad is slightly inconvenient (but necessary since it would drain the iPad too much). Also I don’t use a pen but you would need to get an extra part for the pen since the top of the case knocks it off sometimes.

I am currently waiting for another keyboard to arrive; the first one I received had hinge issues. The iPad would not "close" over the keyboard without having to manual press the hinge which forced an audible "click" or ratcheting sound. Resolution of this issue has taken weeks. My prior iPad keyboard from Brydge had none of these issues. I take very good care of my tech and I like this product. If the replacement unit doesn't exhibit the same behavior, I'll happily update my score. If I receive another unit and I have to force click/close the iPad and put undue pressure on the hinges every time to get it to close properly, I will not recommend this unit until Brydge figures out the engineering issues.

The trackpad is terrible :/ I waited months for this to come, tried to cancel and was told I would have to return it. Just a waste of money IMO seeing as how the trackpad is a joke
