Well... The construction seems nice and sturdy, and the infinite viewing angles are nice. (Time will tell whether the hinge holds up.) Everything about the keyboard itself seems fine so far. (Although it would be nice to have a ‘mute’ button, having a row of function keys sure beats having none on Apple’s Magic Keyboard.) HOWEVER, the whole reason for buying this keyboard is the trackpad! Brydge has apparently already made some improvements with firmware updates, but more are very much needed to make it anywhere near Apple’s functionality. The thing that drives me CRAZY is the ‘tap to click’, which is EXTREMELY sensitive. Every Apple laptop or desktop trackpad I have used for the last 20 years has had the ability to turn that off, AND I DO!! I easily have as many accidental clicks as desired clicks with the Brydge trackpad because of the sensitivity. It would also be nice to have the two finger ‘swipe’ between web pages, photos, etc. It would also be nice to be able to ‘pinch and spread’ to zoom in and out on maps, photos, etc. All the things I have been mentioned are functions available on Apple trackpads. (And I may have missed some.) Also, the optional protective back that Brydge gives you for the iPad comes off fairly easily. It either needs to affix more securely , or be a non optional part of a keyboard case. Both Brydge and Apple fail to give you storage For the Apple Pencil. Logitech is the company that got that right. (A closure strap that either holds the pencil or secures it while attached to the iPad when the case is closed. Either choice is magnetically secured.) I actually made a ‘pouch’ for the Apple Pencil that attaches to the back with Velcro! (See pic) I am still hoping that Brydge will update the functionality of the trackpad to be more like Apple’s.

I love the sleek design and look. I like the comfortable key board—-I bought the screen protector, it has not been installed yet so I can’t comment on that item. So for I am impressed. The shipping was fast and on time also. I am very happy with that process also. Thank you Bridge Pro

Wonderful accessory for my iPad Pro 12.9. Very high quality and the built in track pad is awesome. Backlit keyboard is a plus. Highly recommend!

Best keyboard/trackpad combo for iPad Pro BY FAR. Apple’s Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro pales in comparison. It’s a toy compared to the Brydge Pro+ I was on the phone with an Apple tech specialist (who was amazing like usual) the other day on a question regarding my iPad Pro, and told him how Brydge had managed to “out-Appled” Apple with the release of the Brydge Pro+. The only way Apple can possibly respond to Brydge’s exceptional design, manufacturing and marketing is to buy Brydge and retain all of their management and employees. They’re literally that good. Thank you Brydge, you’ve taken my iPad from a use-it-once-every-other-day OK device to a must-have use-it-all-day necessity. They should call this new combo the MacBook Pro+. FYI, my desktop is a new iMac 27”, and I’m hardly using that right now. Run, don’t walk, to pick up one of these revolutionary devices

In the short time I’ve had this keyboard, I’ve come to really love it. The quality of the product is impressive. On the minus side: in combination with the 12.9”, the keyboard feels heavy. Also, I often inadvertently touch the touchpad while typing, which makes the cursor jump to different place or line. Adding a wrist cushion helped in this regard. On the positive side, and the positives far outweigh the negatives, my favorite feature is that, due to the Bluetooth connection, I can type without the keyboard being attached to the iPad. I can place the iPad on a stand, and type with the keyboard on my lap. I love the backlit keys also, although I do wish I could adjust the lights to a longer period before they go off to save the battery. I like the up/down/right/left arrow keys. They are nice to have on an iPad. Features I would like to see in the future: more touchpad gestures, which would work as they do on a Mac. One such gesture would be to make it easier to switch apps, for example. The fact that you can add features like that through firmware updates, is a pretty cool thing also. Overall, I love this keyboard and touchpad. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for producing such a useful and well built product.

The lack of an "escape" is a deal breaker. Despite the lack a of a responsive and organized support unit, I would have enjoyed the tool bar keys and slim design. Apple pencil is easily separated from the unit and could easily be lost in day-to-day use.Not worth the price. Wish I had gone with the ridiculously expensive Apple version. Both are $$$$$ rip-offs.

I purchased the Bydge Pro + and I love and hate it. The keyboard is fantastic! I can not say enough about how awesome it is as far as feel, usage, supporting the iPad at any angle, truly awesome. What I hate is I feel the iPad itself does not have any protection. The piece that "magnetically sticks" to the back of the iPad comes off non stop. It will peel off and if you slide it into a bag, it will come off. I was expecting something way more durable for protection. Something the iPad sat in. This leaves all the edges of your iPad exposed and would not protect it at all if it were dropped. I would give the keyboard piece 10 stars on a scale of 1-5 because it is so awesome, but if you need something more for protection, this is a 1 star.
