“I bought the VertDesk Converter at the recommendation of The Wirecutter, who said, "This is the best converter we tested that allows for stand-mounted monitors or laptops. It's stable, its keyboard tray is adjustable, and it doesn't require a huge desk." It's stylish and rugged, fits comfortably on the 35"-wide desk that my wife was using, is perfect for her iMac and powered speakers. She likes using it so much, she never bothers to lower it from the standing position.”
“I had recently bought the VertDesk Converter and am really pleased so far. I also bought the Amazon Basics option to compare. The Amazon version was a LOT easier to move up and down and was not a bad option for the price. That said, it was much more jiggly when in standing mode than the VertDesk. The VertDesk is pretty solid and I appreciate that very much.”
“Took a risk on the manual lift model, easy to use and requires very little effort. The only change I would like to see is a small stationary platform behind the keyboard and under the monitors to hold the docking station.
I also purchased the standing mat. Co-workers made fun until they tried it. It was entertaining to watch their expression change from mocking to envy. The mat is well worth it.”
“We love our desks. They raise and lower easily, and they feel solid (and not bouncy) when in the raised position. Shipping was quick and BTOD did a great job communicating with me about my order. 10/10 would recommend!”
“Impressed with how quickly the desk arrived and was easy to install. I had one question and was expedited through to a very knowledgeable person who was able to quickly answer my question. All around a great experience!”
“This desk converter seemed as though it was going to be perfect, but we found that it doesn't lower if it doesn't have sufficient weight on the top level. As we had planned to use it with only a laptop and not an additional monitor, lowering the converter required the addition of several hard back books. When I called the company, I was informed that this is how it is intended to work. Unfortunately we had already recycled the packaging and were unable to return it, so it is posted to Craigslist.”
