“I'm very happy with the desk. It is so nice to be able to standup or sit down while on the computer. I got a 30"x66" with programmable buttons, and few other options (wire trey, radius corners, etc..). The desk is very solid. Even at standing height (42.4" for me). I'm a gamer so can be rough at times while gaming. No issues at all with the desk when standing up and gaming. Assembly and setup of the programmable buttons was easy. The android app works fine. Voice control only works with the app. Kinda of wish it worked with Alexia, but not a big deal since only have to push the button once to raise or lower. The gyrosense works, but would be careful if you have little kids as the desktop and center support bar has very little room between them when all the way down. It would probably not feel good to get caught up in that. :-) The desk was very well packaged and no issues with FedEx delivery.
All in all, it's a awesome desk!”
“Arrived very, very well packed. Initially wondered whether cable shelf, drawer, and monitor shelf were missed but they were simple delivered separately.
Assembly was straightforward but took a couple hours, although I didn't hurry and only used hand tools.
I have used the desk for about a month. It is super solid and stable. I can't budge it at its lowest height, even pushing and pulling in resonance. My monitors don't even sway a bit. At full height, I can make it sway slightly but only when pushing and pulling in rhythm. It's still super stable to any singular bumps or pushes. I doubt it can be beat in stability.
I'm 5'11" and the height range works about perfectly for me. This desk has a very slightly more limited range then Uplift but low is about as low as I would like and high is about 2 inches higher than I need. At low, I have about 3" of clearance between the desk and my knees. I probably would prefer to be able to go a couple inches lower for certain circumstances but it's perfect for normal uses.
Raising and lowering is smooth and quick. It takes about 15 seconds to go through its entire range, from low to high limits. It's pretty quiet and the sound it does make isn't harsh or bothersome. I recommend the programmable switch. It works great and is definitely worth the money.
I was about to purchase an Uplift desk based on Wirecutter and other resources before coming across the VertDesk Plus while configuring the Uplift. The uplift has the advantage of greater options in some respects and is a competitive desk but the VertDesk Plus seems to win in quality where it matters, such as stability and quality components for longevity. Uplift or the original VertDesk may be better options for those who are outside of the normal height range, although I don't recall the specific differences now. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice and I don't have any complaints.”
