The whole buying process was easy, including getting the surface & frame color samples very promptly and correcting my error with delivery address. Once ordered, the table arrived promptly, very well packaged. The assembly directions were clear -- it was a major help that all the fasteners were packaged separately, by assembly process, and marked to correspond with the directions. And the assembled table perfectly meets my needs. Couldn't be happier!

This 30x60" desk was surprisingly easy to setup - one person could do it, but having a friend to help will make flipping it a lot easier. Took about an hour because we were messing around, but if I did it again we could probably do it in 20-30 minutes. The wire tray at the back is really helpful and was worth the money, though one thing to keep in mind is if your cables are long enough to extend up with the desk - mine aren't so I'll have to get some longer ones. I also got a pencil tray which, when mounted on the far right of the desk, fits really well because I can pull it out without moving out of the way. The pencil tray DID come damaged though which is why there are only 4 stars in this review - the main desk came with good packaging, but the accessories (the wire tray and pencil tray in my case) were not as well protected. My pencil tray has a broken corner which makes me think the box was dropped hard at some point. It does not impair funcationality of the tray I'll probably just super-glue the pieces back on at some point. Once we had the desk assembled I hopped on it and rode it up to its full height and it didn't even slow down which was pretty cool. I was initially worried about my knees hitting the brace bar between the legs, but my knees are a good 5" away (I'm 5'9"). Even at full height, the desk is very stable - I intentionally tried to rock it on padded carpet and got a little wobble, but it was probably from the carpet more than the desk. At 29", where it's at right now, there's NO side-to-side wobble and just a tiny front-to-back wobble if I'm trying to make some. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this desk.

When the height is changed, the mechanism overshoots then undershoots until it finds the correct height. It happens when using the app or the manual buttons.

When looking for a standing desk I, like most people, did a lot of research before deciding which one was right for me. There are a bunch of options out there and it's easy to pick the first one you see without fully understanding what differentiates the brands. BTOD really impressed me with their unbiased reviews of what was in the market; including a thorough review of their own desk and how they stack up to the competition. What was important to me were the following: - customizable length/depth - options on color for table top and legs - memory buttons (i had used them at work and loved them) - stability - quality build So far, i've had my desk for about 2-weeks now and i'm very impressed with the build. Pros: - countertop, although not real solid wood and nobody offers that today, the pressed board they used it very thick and strong. It feels solid and the finish i chose looks awesome. - legs and crossmember really feel solid and allow for better cable management then other companies. - max height 47" the desk still feels solid with minimal wobble. - assembly was pretty straight forward (but i'm an ex-carpenter so i'm used to this type of thing) Cons: - instructions were pretty generic. I had to use a lot of personal judgement when assembling the desk, but most of the holes were pre-drilled and ready to go. - some of their accessories don't come with instructions or they do and they're not very helpful at all. This is not BTOD's fault but just be prepared if you're picking up some of their add-ons. - delivery after placing my order was almost 4-weeks. If you're an impulse buyer this may be a red-flag for you but i can honestly say IT'S WORTH THE WAIT. Overall the desk is great and having used many standing desks in the past, I can say this one is my favorite.

Nice desk. Voice control app for Android doesn't work with voice controls.. It also requests a ton of permissions it doesn't need.

I've had this desk for a few weeks now and I love it. It is very well constructed and barely moves at all when i have it in its standing position. I have a desktop convertible for work and, while it works fairly well, it isn't anywhere near as stable. This is much better. Assembly was straightforward, especially if you follow the video tutorial. Aligning the hex rod into the right drive unit was not a big deal at all. I had to use the wrench, but it took the slightest adjustment and it slid right in. Not as big of an issue as it was made out to be by some. I do feel that the written instructions could be a bit better, but that isn't much of an issue with the video tutorial, which was great. All in all it was pretty painless, though you will need a second pair of hands to upright the desk after assembly. It is modestly heavy and certainly too awkward for one person. My only real "complaint" is a minor one. I think they should have pre-drilled mounting holes for the programmable height control on both the left and right front sides of the desk in order to give you a choice on which side to use. Granted you can always drill the holes manually for an alternate placement, but it wouldn't really cost anything for their CNC to replicate the pattern on the other side. Again, a VERY minor issue. Oh, one other thing I'd like to comment on is the motor noise. It really isn't bad at all. Yeah, it isn't as whisper quiet as some other desks that I've seen, but it's not that loud. And this desk is WAY nicer and sturdier than those other models. I get the feeling that it will last a lot longer as well. Overall a great purchase that I am very happy with.
