“First, I enjoyed working with BTOD. I had a question about the return policy and it was answered quickly and confidently; I also had specific delivery instructions which were followed. Communication was good throughout delivery.
On the chair, it is huge, which is what I wanted. I am 6’4” and I believe it would work for even taller people. Seat depth, back, and arm extensions are great. The seat depth in particular is almost excessively long, even from the minimum adjustment. The headrest is kind of weird to adjust, and feels too far back to be practical.
My main complaint is that the seat is shaped in such a way that if I sit all the way back, my hips are lower than my knees, with the center of my thighs higher than both. This just feels weird, but this is also my first desk chair with a deep enough seat depth for me, so maybe this is normal. Other than that, I have experienced some upper left back pain/soreness after workdays, but I think that may be due to poor posture/leaning on my left arm, and it seems to improve when I focus on sitting properly.
Overall, I am happy with the chair.”

Regarding the seat shape and the feeling of your hips sitting lower than your knees, this can sometimes happen if the seat height or depth is set a bit low or too deep for your posture. A few adjustments that often help:
Raise the seat height slightly so your hips are level with or just above your knees (using a footrest if needed to keep feet flat).
Slide the seat depth forward or backward to ensure about 2–3 inches of space behind your knees.
Adjust the tilt tension or seat angle to reduce the “dip” you’re feeling in the center of the seat.
Make sure the backrest and armrests are supporting you evenly (90 degree angles) sometimes leaning on one arm can cause the upper-back soreness you mentioned.
Every body is different, and even small changes can make a big difference in comfort, especially during long workdays.
