This chair is very comfortable and with the number adjustments you can tailor it to your exact need. It also comes almost fully assembled so it's super easy to put together.

Like many folks I am sure, I went shopping for an office chair sight unseen because of the pandemic.... normally I’d really want to try one out in person. I looked at a lot of reviews and checked out features of all the usual suspects, including higher priced options, but chose the Truly because it seemed to be pretty adjustable and still reasonably priced. I’ve had it now for a few months, so feel I can give it a fair report. Looks are subjective, but I like it — fairly clean/modern and I was able to customize colors & trim. Some places offer the seat back in fabric too, but I stayed with the unadorned version. The red fabric I got is a good compliment to a cherry desktop. When I first got the chair, I didn’t love it. As some reviews note, the seat cushion is pretty firm, which I generally like. But the first few days, I found the chair to be pretty uncomfortable despite fiddling with adjustments. After some time though it started feeling better, and after a couple of months I’m at the point where I consider it to be comfortable and prefer it to one of my previous favorite office chairs. If I had only tried this in a store, I never would have bought it based on a few minutes of sitting, but I’m happy with it now after several months. Getting the seat slide position helps, and the back rest/lumbar support has a really good range of adjustment. All the adjustments work well (Executive Syncro), but I think the recline resistance is too stiff, even on it’s loosest setting— I can’t stay reclined without actively pushing with my feet against the floor. I find myself rocking back more in other chairs than the Truly. People are probably split on the poly back, but I like the feel, and it is slightly cooler than fabric (though maybe similar to a mesh back). The KR-445 armrests are pretty nice, but they wobble slightly in their mounts and can also shift forward slightly if you put your hands down to lift yourself out of the seat. This is now my primary working chair, and in the end I think was a solid choice. Took off one star for the recline adjustment and that it took a little bit of time to settle in comfort wise. Minor shipping goof: they sent me two left armrests to start, but BTOD was quick to send out the correct one for me.

Chair was shipped timely and btod updated me throughout the process. I liked the fact that I could custom make the chair to my specs. Came mostly assembled unlike chairs from the box stores. The chair is so different from all the other chairs I have had in the past. I am getting used to it. My back was a wreck after tax season from my old chair. This chair is helping my back with all of the adjustments that it has.

Researched chairs and found this one to be a good balance between comfort and price.

The year is 2020, and I am fortunate enough to have a job that currently allows me to work from home. Unfortunately, the only desk chair I have is a janky gaming chair that is good for a couple hours at best. After an exhaustive, weeks long search, I decided on the Office Master Truly. Reviews said the seat and back were firm, and the specs said the seat pan and back height were adjustable. ALL OF IT TRUE! The seat cushion is firm but springy, the seat pan adjusts forward and back. Awesome. The seat back has height adjustment and lumbar adjustment. Fabulous. When I felt the material of the seat back while assembling the chair, I was worried. But it was for no reason. The seat back is also firm and springy. and I prefer the lack of upholstery on the seat back. Assembly. Astonishingly simple. Six pieces total (with the added arms and head rest), no tools required. No instructions supplied, but none needed. Overall, yes, I'd call this bad boy five stars!
