Great little amp, running very well with plenty of good bass. I did have the inphase one which is recommended first, which spent most of the time of ownership in the shop getting repaired opted for this as a replacement, much happier now

I'm currently running this amp to power a Pioneer TS-D12D2 12" Dual 2 Ohm Voice Coil Subwoofer. I must say that I am quite happy. I've currently got the sub wired up as a 4ohm load. I set the gain using my oscilloscope with a 50hz signal. I have also tried wiring the sub as a 1ohm load, and although it was obviously able to get it a litre louder (limited by a 600w rms sub) I found the sound wasn't as clean as in a 4ohm configuration. I also borrowed my friend's sub (same as mine) and wired the 2 subs up as a 2ohm load. Although my van was certainly shaking, this amp is a was a little under powered for both subs. The amp with a 2ohm load can only produce 800w rms which is 400w under the 2 subs total of 1200w rms, I think this is where people my have been feeling a little let down. I have had no over heating issues in any of the wiring configurations and have had the amp running full volume for a full 30 minutes. The amp is also mounted upside-down to the roof of my van. From my experience with this amp, I would say make sure to match it up with a correct rms sub (and this will depend on the wiring configuration/load). I would probably say, keep things within 100w of the rms, e.g. 4ohm 400-600w rms sub. 20hm load 700-900w rms sub or 2 subs to that total. 1ohm load 1100-1300w sub or 2 subs to that total. I will eventually be using this amp to power 3 x 350w rms 4ohm single voice coils shallow subs wired in parallel for a 1.33ohm load. If I have any issues I will update the review. My crosser is set as follows. Sub up to 80hz 12db slope Mids 90 to 2.5khz 6db slope Twitter 4khz 12db slope I hope someone finds the above info useful.

Returned after 7 days. Because the low end was crap. I though it was a faulty amp so I got a replacement. Replacement sounds just as crap. Returning for a refund. Will buy the IPA2001D on payday

The inphase amp deal with kenwood sub, would the amp run in bridge mode? Or is a better 1 ch amp on offer. Looking to buy online but need good deal. Already run 0 guage from battery and power gain switch and quality rca leads.
