“I have two cats, one of which is a picky litter box user. We've had to place litter boxes in rooms all around the house to avoid her using the carpet, beds, or couch as her litter box! We've not had ANY accidents since transitioning to Catspot! THe house smells way better as a result! I've be able to switch over all of the litter boxes to Catspot and I am thrilled with the results. We compost in the garden so there's no waste! I flush the solid waste, which I thought might have a smell linger and it doesn't! So if I don't get to it immediately it isn't an issue. I developed golfers elbow (the motion of lifting out litter box mess is one of the triggers!) and now everything is so light it doesn't hurt! The only downfall with it being so lightweight, my silly girl tipped the litter box over using the sides to prop herself up as she pottied. Haha Long story short, I'M NEVER GOING BACK TO CONVENTIONAL LITTER AGAIN! CATSPOT FOREVER!!!”
“I am sorry to say that my cat hated this letter. Luckily she went pee in it; but she went #2 two on the living room carpet!
I tried mixing a little bit in with her old letter first, so that she would get used to it. That never happened....she did not like it.”
Hello Alison, we are sorry to hear that the litter did not work out for your cat. For some cats switching litter can be difficult, especially when CatSpot Litter is so different from many of the litters on the market in terms of texture, color & smell. “My 17 yr. old cat took right to it. I was going through Clump & Seal litter like crazy due to her overactive bladder, but the 5lbs bag I got from CatSpot will easily last both her litter boxes over a month. It's been so nice to not have to deal with the dust and the plastic grocery bags full of the clumped litter. I live in a small apartment and it was extremely hard to keep my home not smelling like the scented litter I was using (even with 2 ionic air filters operating). It's lightweight, easy to mix around until the urine spots are absorbed, and will last her at least another month. I look forward to sharing it with my mom and sister for their pets so they can try it out. My mom is elderly and has to have her current litter delivered to her doorstep, but she still has to carry it indoors and scoop. Hi Michael,
Our litter is not intended to clump. All you need to do is scoop the solids and stir in the urine thoroughly, daily. This keeps the urine odor down. :)
