I am very happy with Catspot except this last order. It appears that some of the coconut did not go through the shredding process and is very clumpy. Had to throw the big clumps in the garbage.

We have 2 cats and neither one liked the litter. One of our cats actually kicked the litter out the box onto the floor, not once but twice. After sweeping it up twice, I went back to our old litter. I personally didn't like the litter. It didn't control the odor as advertised and was like sawdust.

The only suggestion i have is to find a non-plastic packaging for the litter. Something as equally biodegradable or recyclable as the litter itself. Otherwise my cats love it! I have never used a litter with better odor control.

I can't speak for my cat, but I love Catspot kitty litter! First, our cat had no problem with the transition from clay-based litter to Catspot litter. The Catspot litter is very lightweight so a bit more gets kicked out BUT it is much easier sweep or vacuum up than clay and doesn't leave residue on the floor like clay does. Just sweep or vacuum and it's gone. An under litter box mat is a good thing to have to catch most of the litter that is kicked out. With clay litter, a huge amount of litter is thrown in the trash when scooping but only a small amount is scooped out with Catspot, making it last longer. Follow the instructions for mixing in the urine and you will find it works really well. When you are finally ready to dispose of it, scoop out all of the solids and spread on your lawn or flower garden (not your vegetable garden!). This was an ingenious idea!

It was a hit, for everything that my cat ..... I think that says it all. We even use it for the rabbit's litter box. A great product.

I think it’s going great. My cat took a couple of days to get use to stepping in something soft. And a lot come out of the box with her but I like it.

Excellent product! I'm amazed that the stirring of the urine in the litter eliminates the odor! Highly recommend. It is very worth the price!

There are a lot of positives to using Catspot. It truly is, in our experience, an excellent odor controller. We love the super-absorbent coconut and the need to only dispose of the solids. It's all-natural coconut composition makes this one of the most environmentally friendly litters out there. Being able to compost your litter as opposed to throwing it out in the trash feels similar to always remembering to bring your reusable bags to the grocery store. There are two massive flaws with Catspot litter which makes this a really challenging litter to get behind if your cat lives in an apartment. Firstly, despite their advertisement, this litter is definitely not dust-free. You can see clouds of it billowing from the box when cleaning, and oftentimes you'll be required to wipe a film of dust from the surrounding walls, & etc. At first this was thought to be a factory error and customer service (who were very helpful) sent us a new bag, but we're on our fourth bag and the improvements have been minimal. Secondly, no matter what litter mat or style of litter box you use, and we have tried every single kind, from all-natural jute mats and honeycombed mats that catch the litter beneath, to fully-covered top entry boxes, trays and front-entry boxes, you can. not. stop. the tracking. This litter will go everywhere with your cat, especially if you live in a small space. We really tried to make this litter work because of how much we believe in this type of product, but it is simply not meant for apartment dwellers. If I was able to keep my baby's box in a garage, mudroom or basement, I'd be all about using this litter regardless of the tracking. But if your litter box can only be as far away as a quick cat sprint to your table, or your bed, or your sofa, or your desk, or your kitchen counters, I do not recommend.
