“Fantastic. We are relieved that our Weegie is not kicking up and inhaling clay and chemical dust. There is NO odor. So easy to clean. No clumps stuck to the box to scrape off. It's so light and easy to just add to the flower bed mulch. After removing solid waste, of course. I have recommended it to dozens of people I know and don't know for that matter. I helped a lady load her clay litter into her car while telling her about Captspot. Great product! Weegie recommended!!!”
“The litter smelled nice and kept down the smell of cat urine/feces. However, the texture of the litter is so fine that it sticks in the cat's claws and gets tracked all over the house. I had high hopes, but alas this makes more of a mess than other litters.”
“This litter is working very well for our cat. (And therefore us) I like the more natural aspect of Catspot. The only thing that I would caution new users is this: read the directions! They are not difficult to read or understand. If you use it as directed, the odors get absorbed very well. This litter is not a case of "if a little bit is good, a lot is better". “We have 2 cats and neither one liked the litter. One of our cats actually kicked the litter out the box onto the floor, not once but twice. After sweeping it up twice, I went back to our old litter. I personally didn't like the litter. It didn't control the odor as advertised and was like sawdust.”
“The only suggestion i have is to find a non-plastic packaging for the litter. Something as equally biodegradable or recyclable as the litter itself. Otherwise my cats love it! I have never used a litter with better odor control.”
“I can't speak for my cat, but I love Catspot kitty litter! First, our cat had no problem with the transition from clay-based litter to Catspot litter. The Catspot litter is very lightweight so a bit more gets kicked out BUT it is much easier sweep or vacuum up than clay and doesn't leave residue on the floor like clay does. Just sweep or vacuum and it's gone. An under litter box mat is a good thing to have to catch most of the litter that is kicked out. With clay litter, a huge amount of litter is thrown in the trash when scooping but only a small amount is scooped out with Catspot, making it last longer. Follow the instructions for mixing in the urine and you will find it works really well. When you are finally ready to dispose of it, scoop out all of the solids and spread on your lawn or flower garden (not your vegetable garden!). This was an ingenious idea!”
