“This board is the perfect teaching tool for the newbie chess player. My husband and I can play, touching our pieces to see just where they move, before commiting to that move. Especially helpful with the elusive knight pieces that are confounding to understand. You can play against a bot too. The lowest ELO the bot can play is 400 fyi...We love our board. It was a gift to celebrate our 47th anniversary. Chess is a great game, chess has become a big part of our life since purchasing. We have watched little TV for we want to play chess most of all.”
“I'm 70 yrs old recently widowed and haven't played chess in 60 years. I bought the ChessUp 2 to keep my mind active and challenged. It has definitely accomplished that. I wish there were Pdf's available explaining the functionality and baasic chess rules strategies instead of having to view a video every time I have a question. The only shortcoming in functionality I have found is that when you increase the AI level the colors of the squares sometimes fail (rather than illuminate red, green ... they light up white).”
“Being brand new to chess, I wasn't sure where to start. After doing some research I came across ChessUp. It sounded just like what I was looking for. I find the on-board help and the ability to play bots is just what I needed. Now I'm addicted to chess. The board is very easy to use and a lot of fun to play. I look forward to learning and growing into the other features the board offers.”
“Very responsive, very cool, got a lot of compliments on my board at Chess Club. Would highly recommend this for anyone that enjoys OTB and also would enjoy playing OTB via chess.com or licchess super responsive.”
“I was very hesitant to purchase an electronic chess board, but I have to say the chess up 2 seems well made and has functioned perfectly. I enthusiastically recommend anyone wishing to try a physical board and piece set to play online games to get the chessup 2. I love the fact that I do not need a phone tablet or computer to directly connect to chess.com and lichess without worrying about lag in the move transmission or stability of the connection. I rate the product a 10 out of 10”
“ChessUp 2 is a stellar chess learning and playing tool. The support at Bryght Labs is also the very best with prompt service; fast shipping; and safe packaging. :)”
“ChessUp has reignited my love of chess. I’m playing a quick game at least once a day. And I love the two player options. The apps are good, but the board makes the experience so much more enjoyable.”
