“The board itself is excellent with a good battery life and quick charge time. The (free) mobile companion app is also excellent with a variety of very useful lessons programmed to be visualised on the board directly, such as checkmate patterns, tactics, master games etc
There are also options for the board to use the onboard engine to highlight the best moves for you when playing against bots, this feature is excellent for learning new lines or reviewing tactics.
The only downside so far is that, even though the board is sponsored by chess.com, the integration with chess.com is awful. It takes a very long time to find a game (if it finds one at all) and even when you do find a game, you may often lose connection which results in a loss. However, it does have excellent integration with Lichess which I have now decided to switch to for the time being. On Lichess, the connection is far far more stable and you can find matches very easily.
I give this board 4/5 stars with the hopes that the chess.com features will be fixed and workable in the near future.”
“It’s amazing - my son loves it and it is the first thing to get him away from gaming! Unfortunately one of the squares is a bit unreliable so reached out to see if it’s a software, board or chess piece issue. If it gets resolved I may well purchase a second one for my older boy as he is very impressed with it.”
“Hello, Il y a-t-il la possibilité d'avoir le meilleur coup que l'IA jouerait à notre place ?
On apprend aussi très bien en regardant les autres jouer, surtout s'il sont meilleur que nous !
Lorsque je suis un peu fatigué et bloqué dans une situation, j'aimerai bien pouvoir demander à l'IA quel serait le meilleur coup...
Merci.

“The led lighting on the board is literally a game changer! It is very good for improving your game. My kids love it and play more chess than ever. (6 and 9) My daughter said it is a magical board with all the lights. The dog ate my spare white queen... Beware of that ;-) Ordered a new one. Thank you Bryght Labs for the amazing board!”
