That said, the Christmas Forest is London’s favourite independent retailer – or treetailer – of real Christmas trees.

“It is a bit skinnier than previous lush trees I have had from CTF. There were not enough strong branches to put all of my ornaments on and try as I might to keep it watered and healthy ( no heavy ornaments, esp on weaker branches ) it was hard to find enough strong branches and the middle bit started drooping on day 2. I've been fortunate enough to have a real Christmas tree every year for all my life and I know how to make them last. I'm afraid this one is not going to last ( I've only had it for 4 days and the drooping started on Day 2 ). Needles are falling too..... I would give it a 3 star if it wasn't so expensive.”
