I finally found a watch I don't have to mess with. No more store visits for battery swaps. No making sure I move enough with automatics. I put it on and go to work. Perfect. The canvas strap is a must for hot summer days.

Overall, this is a great looking watch. Easily readable good lume for the night time, accurate and maintenance free. I wear it daily. My only gripes, and they are minor, are that you can see the solar cell more than I thought you could, and the strap has hole spacing that is wider than normal (so one hole might be too tight, but the next hole is too loose).

This watch performs as advertised except in the case of reading in the dark. Here it fails totally the glow for night reding is useless.

I have never owned a Citizen watch and must say that the quality is better than expected. It is a little small but very light and easy to read. The eco-drive feature is a nice touch.

This is my first solar-powered watch and I'm very pleased with it. Watch face is easily readable.

I purchased this watch in January to replace a Seiko watch that I had owned for years. It keeps time well, the solar function is great and the band is functional and has a military look.

This watch was given to me as a Christmas gift. I own two other Eco-Drive timepieces and have been very satisfied with both. This was my first with a non-metal strap. I loved the casual look of the watch with the simple face and olive band. The Eco-drive feature is my favorite, never having to worry about batteries. I leave my watches on a stand in my room near the window so they are always charged. This particular watch looks great and functions flawlessly. The large numbers on the face are easy to read. They are also feature luminous finish that will glow in the dark for several hours when charged by the sun. My only complaint for this piece is that the band was quite uncomfortable. It has large grommets long the band on both ends that dug into my wrist and caused me to sweat under the band to an uncomfortable extent. The canvas portion didn't cause any issues, but the grommets cover enough of its surface that the band was unusable for me. I ended up switching the band out for a spare leather and nylon one I had from an old Timex watch. Now the watch is one of my daily wears. I will most likely own many more Citizen time pieces, but will stay away from ones with bands like this.

This watch was a gift about ten years ago. I have worn it while building houses, working in a warehouse, hiking, camping, everywhere. still works like the day I got it. I have of course replaced the band a couple times, now I have a nice engineer style bracelet on it so it should last forever. I have about thirty watches and this is at one my favourite due to it simple good looks and reliability.
