Very nice watch, although I switched the fabric band out for a metal bracelet. It keeps very good time and is the perfect size (for me). I would buy other Citizen watches, (they are THAT good), IF they came in the same, or a slightly smaller size.

Bough one of these in 2011 and used it for everything you can imagine. This little thing is a beast. I'd like to see citizen coming with something on this small profile and wr100 but with a dress dial, no numbers and some cool dial like in their 0100 or Rolan watches. This little thing goes through salt water and sand every weekend since In bought it also, paid $112 back then brand new. Citizen please make a dress dial case option on this small platform. Thanks

Got my first Citizen eco-drive watch nearly 10 years ago--I absolutely love it! I have had to replace the band three times but other than that it has served me very well. Just got this one for my husband for our anniversary, hoping it makes the long term as well as mine has. :)

The watch itself seems very well made and is running nicely. The glow in the dark feature worked from day one for me, and it has been keeping time well. The band is as bad as the other reviewer's mention. I have really small wrists, and this field watch is one of the few I found that would fit. While the small size is right for me, the band itself is lined with some stiff fake leather. (Watch face says made in Japan on the back, but the band says made in China.) On a cheaper watch I would not have a problem with his, but for the price, a nicer band would make sense.

These Garrison is rugged, tough, and reliable. As a park ranger, mine has been banged around inside engine compartments, submerged in swamps, rattled and shaken by all manner of power tools, slapped by twigs & branches at high speed (ATV on the trails), exposed to heat and humidity for extended periods, and pelted by sand, gravel, and other debris thrown at high speeds by powerful weed wackers. It’s not immortal or indestructible but it’s pretty darn close. After over TEN YEARS of hard use, the crystal is scratched, pitted, and chipped (the dial is still perfectly legible and the watch is still water tight!) and I’ve had to replace the band twice… see pictures. You won’t find a longer lasting, tougher watch for this price! Buy it, it won’t let you down.
