John, our guide and instructor, was very patient, helped everyone individually if needed, answered all our questions, and made us super welcome. Aspects to improve:
- I would have played Japanese music in the background to improve the vibes.
- I would have liked if the teachers had asked you before removing the materials from the table as a couple of times I had not yet finished and I needed them. I did not realise they were taking them away as I was focused on my work!
- It was a bit difficult to see sometimes the steps the teacher was showing us from our seats.
- The DIY kit we took home does not include the gold paint you need and we did not know.
- I would have liked a bit more time for the finishing touches. Most of us only had time for one piece of pottery.
