This is a fun activity in Earlsfield, London

In this engaging wheel throwing class in London, you'll learn the basics of making your pots from scratch on the potter's wheel.

It will begin with a brief demonstration so you can familiarise yourself with the process. You'll take turns trying out your new skills on the wheel with the teacher's guidance. Me-time between pottery attempts will provide some rest, so soak up the experience.

The longer class duration of two and a half hours will give you the time to perfect your ceramic pieces. By the end of this activity, you'll leave with two finished pots that you can claim in about three to four weeks. You can even make a third pot, however, a £7.50 surcharge is made to each extra pot.

Don't fret if you're new to pottery, as this class offers a relaxed and supportive environment ideal for beginners. During the class, you'll be encouraged to ask questions and refine your skills. The teacher will be there to offer guidance and help you make the most out of your time at the wheel. You'll be surprised at just how therapeutic and enjoyable this activity can be. All in all, it'll be a fun and creative way to spend an afternoon in London.

As your final reward for your efforts, you will take home a pair of glazed pots that will feel like unique masterpieces that you've crafted from scratch.

This class was a complete and marvellous surprise. To start with it was only 2 students therefore full attention from the teacher, very hands on and every opportunity to ask questions. Patrick is not only very knowledgeable but so nice to talk to and he does like talking!. He's also better good at explaining things in a clear way. Really loved the whole experience.

Teacher-informative, gave some brief history of pottery which me and my mum both enjoyed, the class itself was fantastic, very hands on, very involved and we created some brilliant pieces of work. Loved every minute of it and so did my mum, definitely will be going back(I think I speak for both of us), no pressure environment, easy access. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

We had such a great time - Patrick is passionate, knowledgable and an excellent teacher! We were able to throw lots of pots and 2 bowls throughout the session, with a perfect mix of guided and solo time on the wheel. Would highly recommend and can't wait to see the finished pieces!
