This is a fun activity in Shoreditch, London

This introductory beginner's glass workshop in London is specially designed for absolute beginners with no prior experience in lampworking glass. It's the ideal activity to learn how to create your own stunning glass flowers without feeling overwhelmed.

Through careful observation and teaching, we have found that starting with the Mini Flower Set is the perfect way to begin. This approach allows you to get hands-on straight away and successfully create beautiful pieces. In this workshop, you will learn how to make mini flowers, which have 3-5 petals that are lightly pressed, or small flowers, where each petal is pressed multiple times for added detail. To ensure a high success rate, each flower is limited to a maximum of 5 petals.

You can choose a workshop duration that suits your schedule:

- 1.5-hour workshop: Create a mini set of 2-3 flowers or a small set of 2 flowers.
- 2-hour workshop: Create a mini set of 3-4 flowers or a small set of 2-3 flowers.
- 3-hour workshop: Create a mini set of 5+ flowers or a small set of 4+ flowers.

For those interested in creating more intricate designs, we recommend joining our Improver Beginner Workshop after this introductory session.

You will leave with a gorgeous collection of your very own handcrafted glass flowers and a wonderful sense of achievement from mastering this mesmerising art form.

Such a great class!! The teachers were so helpful and gave a great demonstration with hands on help if needed along the way. So happy with how the flowers came out, will definitely come back!

Had a lot of fun! First we had a demonstration and then we made our own. Enjoyed most handling the glass when it was molten and making different shapes and textures. Teacher was very helpful, she helped me assemble all my petals in the end. Wish I had a little more time to make more

Me and my group thoroughly enjoyed this glass! We’ve never done anything like this, so it was a completely new experience for us. All the tutors were so friendly and lovely. Our teacher went through a demonstration with us and then we were left to get crafty. Some people might not like that, but we actually loved that you don’t have someone standing over you. If you need help at any stage, there was always one of the teachers to ask, so that’s why we really liked how it was run. There are so many colours of glass to choose from and lots of flowers already made so you can get inspiration. We picked the 1.5 hour class, but I actually wish we went the next one up because I was having that much fun and really got into it. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone! We’re already looking to book in for our next class with them. Thanks for having us ◡̈

Lovely learning a new technique to make beautiful flowers. The teachers were very nice and they were approachable. I felt like two hour session wasn't long enough for me so I would like to do the class again.
