Step inside Somerset House’s hidden creative studios for a unique candle-making workshop in London. Hosted by Ambustum at Makerversity, this 75-minute session invites you to slow down, connect with scent, and leave with your own custom-poured candle.

- You’ll learn how to make your own candle using a coconut and rapeseed wax blend, exploring ambustum’s signature scent profiles before blending and pouring your own.
- Each guest finishes with a personalised label and a deeper understanding of the craft.

Thursday evening workshops are a perfect post-work escape. The on-site bar is open, or you’re welcome to bring your own drinks.

“So much fun, great for after a long working day to do something creative. Scents were great and teacher extremely knowledgeable and gave a lot of info if you are interested in making your own candles in the future”

“I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day and we loved it! We were able to learn lots about how candles are made and we had great fun doing it ourselves. Designing our own labels was a great addition to the experience so thank you very much!!!”

“Had a lovely time making candles at this worksop with my partner. Sari was very informative about the art of candle making, giving lots of advice on how to create and care for candles. We made two wonderful smelling candles and are excited to use some of the things we learned to begin making candles at home as well.”
