This is a fun activity in Strand, London

Hosted by ambustum at Makerversity (just on the North side of Waterloo Bridge, at the end of the Strand), this 75-minute session invites you to slow down, connect with scent, and leave with your own custom-poured candle.

You’ll learn how to make your own candle using a natural coconut and rapeseed wax blend, exploring ambustum’s signature scent profiles before blending and pouring your own.

Each guest finishes with a personalised label and a deeper understanding of the craft.

“What a fabulous workshop at Somerset House. It was amazing to be in the secret parts nobody usually gets to see. My friends and I really enjoyed learning about candles and making our own. Sari was knowledgeable and charming. What a lovely way to spend an evening!”

“had such a lovely time at the candle-making workshop! The teacher was warm, friendly, and full of helpful tips that made the whole process feel fun and easy. There were four fragrances to choose from, each one beautiful in its own way, and I ended up picking a gorgeous scent called Daodar that I absolutely love. The whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish, and I left with a candle I’m really proud of. Highly recommend!”

“What fun! Sari is very knowledgeable, patient and fun. I was waiting with the review until I use the candle and it burns beautifully, clean and the scent is very delicate so I can enjoy it longer throughout the evening than some other ones. Highly recommend the experience!”
