This is a fun activity in Liverpool

Join this pottery class in Liverpool and get hands-on with clay at Make North Docks.

In this two-hour workshop, you will discover the joys of the potter's wheel. It is the perfect place for beginners to learn, so do not worry if you have never touched clay before. With a small class size of upto four participants, you will receive plenty of dedicated one-on-one guidance to help you master the basics.

**During the session, you will learn:**

- Centering – Experience the essential techniques for preparing your clay
- Throwing – Learn the skills to make a small plate and cup on the potter's wheel

By the end of the class, you will have developed a new skill and created your own unique pieces to take home once glazed & fired by me, marking the start of your pottery journey.

*Not suitable for children under 16*

“We recently booked this as our anniversary present/date. Was such an enjoyable experience. Our instructor was really informative with each step, took her time with each of us if we needed it and made a relaxing enjoyable atmosphere. We got to make a cup and a plate, this gets glazed by your choice of glaze at the end. All in all, the price was well worth the money. Something fun and different to do either with your partner or your friends. Thanks so much guys, high recommend! Xx”

“Did a two hour beginner workshop and made two items. Teaching was clear, patient and paced correctly. Workshop was good fun and everyone was pleased to have produced something and spoke about how we would like to this again. Great teacher. Thank you”
