This is a fun activity in Liverpool

Join this pottery class in Liverpool and get hands-on with clay at Make North Docks.

In this two-hour workshop, you will discover the joys of the potter's wheel. It is the perfect place for beginners to learn, so do not worry if you have never touched clay before. With a small class size of just one to four participants, you will receive plenty of dedicated one-on-one guidance to help you master the basics.

**During the session, you will learn:**

- Wedging and centering – Experience the essential techniques for preparing your clay
- Throwing – Learn the skills to make a small plate and cup on the potter's wheel

By the end of the class, you will have developed a new skill and created your own unique pieces to take home, marking the start of your pottery journey.

“Had a great time, Sophie was amazing and incredibly patient with me as I was definitely not a natural but managed to get there in the end. The group was small which ment we all got the help we needed and it was easier to learn. Can’t wait to see our pots once it’s all done !! Will definitely be back again !!”

“I bought this as a gift for my partners birthday and it was 100% money well spent. An amazing class ran by the awesome Soph, she was so clear and calm with her instructions and guidance, it made it almost feel easy to produce the cool cups and plates that we created!I have adhd and struggle remembering instructions sometimes but she was really patient and gave me gentle reminders, She's super friendly an down to earth an we had the option to meet her cute lil pup which we obviously JUMPED at! Highly recommend for anyone who's looking for a new hobby or even jus wants a relaxing afternoon doing something fun. For us it's gonna be our new hobby, looking at pottery wheels as we speak!!”
