This is a fun activity in Liverpool

Join this pottery class in Liverpool and get hands-on with clay at Make North Docks.

In this two-hour workshop, you will discover the joys of the potter's wheel. It is the perfect place for beginners to learn, so do not worry if you have never touched clay before. With a small class size of upto four participants, you will receive plenty of dedicated one-on-one guidance to help you master the basics.

**During the session, you will learn:**

- Centering – Experience the essential techniques for preparing your clay
- Throwing – Learn the skills to make a small plate and cup on the potter's wheel

By the end of the class, you will have developed a new skill and created your own unique pieces to take home once glazed & fired by me, marking the start of your pottery journey.

*Not suitable for children under 16*

“We had such an amazing time at the pottery class! From start to finish the experience was relaxed, fun, and really well organised. Sophie was incredibly friendly and patient, explaining each step clearly and making sure we both felt comfortable working with the clay. Sophie was encouraging and there was a lot of laughs throughout the morning. “Had a great time, Sophie was amazing and incredibly patient with me as I was definitely not a natural but managed to get there in the end. The group was small which ment we all got the help we needed and it was easier to learn. Can’t wait to see our pots once it’s all done !! Will definitely be back again !!”
