A solid introduction to lampwork. The class flowed well from safety briefing to demonstration to making. I liked that mistakes were treated as normal and part of the process. It made the environment feel supportive rather than pressured. Tried a couple of times and finally made a heart necklace myself, so pound of myself get the job done as a first time learner.

I really appreciated how much attention the teacher paid to safety without making it feel scary. Before we even touched the flame, everything was explained clearly and practically. Once we started, the guidance felt calm and reassuring rather than strict. What stood out most for me was how hands-on the whole class was. You’re not just following instructions blindly — you actually learn how the glass responds to heat and movement. By the end, I felt tired in a good way and genuinely proud of what I made.

I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. The teacher was calm and encouraging, which helped a lot when working with the flame. Once you get into it, the process is very absorbing. My favourite part was seeing the glass slowly take shape and realising I was actually making something myself. I really like how it turns out in the end, although its my first time doing this, i still get a very decent piece as a gift. Defo we will come back again.

Good experience overall. The class was well explained, but I found the process a bit harder than I imagined. Still interesting to try something new.

The teacher explained everything clearly and made sure everyone understood the safety part before we started. We watched a short demo, chose our colours, and then made our own piece. I really enjoyed the process, and I managed to finish a catcus that I really like.

The teacher was excellent, calm, clear, and very encouraging. We started with a safety explanation, then watched a short demo before making our own piece. What stood out most for me was how focused the whole experience felt. Once you start, you really forget about everything else.
