Pros: The teacher was calm, patient, and very clear throughout the session. Safety was explained properly at the beginning without making it feel intimidating.and I liked that we were shown why certain things were done, not just told what to do. The class was very hands-on. We chose what we wanted to make and picked our own glass colours, which made the piece feel personal rather than generic. During the making process, the teacher stepped in when needed. Watching the glass change in the flame was fascinating, and leaving with a finished piece that I made myself was extremely satisfying. The atmosphere was calm and focused, which I appreciated. Cons: Once you get into the process, time passes very quickly, and I would have loved a bit more opportunity to practise or experiment further. Some parts of the process take time to get used to, and just as I started feeling more confident, the session was coming to an end, you have to hurry up otherwise you wouldn't get a finished piece. Should've booked at least 1.5 hours classes

Good introduction to lampwork. The teacher was knowledgeable, but it did take me some time to get comfortable with the tools. Interesting experience overall.

Honestly one of the most engaging classes I’ve done in a while. The teacher explained things clearly, which helped a lot. We picked our designs and glass colours, watched a demo, and then made our own piece from start to finish. I liked that the teacher let us try things ourselves but stepped in when needed. I made several potted flowers in the end. Walking away with a finished piece that I made myself felt really rewarding.

My partner and I booked this as something different to do together, and it ended up being one of our favourite experiences in London so far. It’s surprisingly relaxing, and also very satisfying to turn our own ideas into stunning glass pieces.
