This course is a great start to enter the Kintsugi art form. It is very informative where the Japanese culture and history is discussed giving the student a good foundation of the art practise. I highly recommend it.

I attended Kintsugi Australia's class on a date and it left us both with great memories. Our Japanese teacher was so friendly and knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her craft. The workshop was more challenging than I thought, but in a good way. Highly enjoyable! Thank you!

A great course where you learn the history of kintsugi and the skills in doing a simple repair. Sensei is wonderful informative, patient and instructive. Funny and warm, the class time just flies by as you are having so much fun.

Taught by real Japanese from Japan, the Beginner's Kintsugi Workshop is a great place to start for anyone who wants to learn the art of imperfection. You'll walk away with a beautiful plate and the satisfaction of having tried some Japanese snacks and tea. If you're in Sydney for a holiday, you can pop in for a quick workshop then take your plate back to dry overnight.

My husband gave me a Class Bento "Beginner's Kintsugi Workshop" gift voucher for Christmas. I had read a little about Kintsugi (apparently the art of repairing, renewing and eventually enhancing with gold, damaged china). Noriko, our knowledgeable and generous teacher, shared so much more in this very productive 2 hour class. Many of us have sentimental pieces of china, damaged and beyond repair and learning the art of Kintsugi can enhance these flawed and damaged items in a new and beautiful way. I found this Kintsugi workshop thought-provoking, giving time for reflection on the process which was soothing and satisfying. I also appreciated the cultural and historical aspects inherent in Kintsugi imparted by Noriko, very interesting. I will definitely pursue other Class Bento Workshops and there seem to be many to choose from.
