“My husband and I had a wonderful time learning the concept and practice of Kintsugi. Hitomi, the teacher was thoughtful and kind, walking us through the history of Kintsugi, its philosophy and applying Kintsugi to broken items. We worked on a plate during our session. A small, intimate class of 6 students feels like the perfect size.
I had received the class as a gift and the booking process was simple and seamless on Classbento. Highly recommend this class for those interested in Japanese culture and art! For those couple of hours, you'd feel transported to Japan.”
“Jun and his wife were very accommodating. The experience was easy to follow along for beginners like us and we thoroughly enjoyed Jun's style of teaching and passion for the craft.
We also loved the cultural and personal exchange as a part of our unique gathering as well. Very wholesome morning all around!”
“We absolute loved Jun-San! Our session ended up being private which was definitely to our advantage as we got to know our lovely instructor very well and what interested him in Kintsugi himself. We loved the workshop and the human interaction we got with Jun-San and his lovely wife Hitomi-San who was telling us stories of how they met and being in Australia. I don’t want to spoil to much in so you can experience this for yourself. We really loved the Kintsugi class, and learnt its history and art as well as philosophy which we are taking on board for our life. As our lovely instructors have taught us, “there are no mistakes in Kintsugi” I look forward to repairing things at home using what I learnt and we will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family!”
“What a lovely couple that taught us and shared their stories with us! It was interesting learning the history of Kintsugi and the process of it was so therapeutic! Super enjoyable!”
