“The class was so fun and Jun was very knowledgeable and helpful in the art of Kintsugi. They provide all the materials and the steps were easy to follow. Was a really cool experience and I highly recommend!”
“This class exceeded all expectations. Our expert instructor Jun took us on a fascinating journey to learn about the origins and life lessons of kintsugi and then led us very carefully and kindly in making our own kintsugi project with absolutely everything provided. Jun has a passion and expertise for kintsugi and shares it very generously with the students. I really felt like I had visited Japan during our session. I highly recommend this workshop.”
“Sensei Jun-san was so good in teaching authentic kinstugi techniques. Loved the class and overall experience. Also, had the best greentea ever. A must do activity for all couples/ friends or family. Had a really great time.”
“Today felt like the beginning of something far deeper than a workshop. Our time with Kintsugi World, guided by Jun-san and with his lovely wife, was a genuinely grounding and meaningful experience, one that will stay with my son and I, well beyond the studio.
At its core, Kintsugi is not about repairing broken ceramics. It is about honouring what has been broken, recognising the story carried by each fracture, and choosing care, patience and respect over speed or perfection. Jun-san does not simply explain this philosophy, he lives it. In his presence, the ethos of Kintsugi becomes tangible. Calm, attentive, deeply respectful of both the craft and the people learning it. His guidance is thoughtful and precise, yet never rigid. Every step is an invitation to slow down, to be present, and to trust the process.
The learning itself is beautifully paced. Clear instruction, gentle, and an encouragement to embrace mistakes as part of the journey. There is no rush to an outcome, only a steady focus on learning, care, and intention. You leave not just with new skills, but with a shifted mindset. One that reframes damage as history, and repair as an act of respect rather than concealment.
If you are even remotely curious about Kintsugi, I would strongly encourage you to experience it here. This is not a transactional class. It is a shared moment of learning, reflection and craftsmanship led by people who truly embody what they teach. A rare and quietly powerful experience that I would recommend without hesitation.”
“I had a great time doing the Kintsugi class with my friend Anita and our teacher Hisae. We covered a lot in the 2 hour class. Hisae was very friendly, helpful and organised. She showed us examples of all the different steps before we started on our own plate. Hisae gave helpful advice throughout the class and I'm thrilled with the end result. I received the class as a gift for Christmas and it was very easy to apply it when booking the class.
Thank you, I throughly enjoyed my time during the class.

“This is an excelent class for any level! The Japanese hospitality, fusioned with a very interesting ideology and an activity that is as easy or challenging as you want to make it makes this class great for anyone.
Me and my partner particularly enjoyed how possitive and calm the class was.”
“Nice class and informative. It felt intimate and friendly. Understanding the background of the technique was interesting. It was one of those nice to do workshops but not sure I would recommend as a must do.”
