“I really enjoyed this class! The teacher/instructor was very supportive and explained everything clearly, which made learning much easier. We covered a lot of history of Kintugi, explored the meaning behind it, and what it is today, which complemented the practical performance of the art. My favorite part was the atomspher which complemented the process/art of Modern Kintsugi. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend this class to anyone interested in meditation, crafting, history, and breaking plates.”
“Really enjoyed the class! Learnt a lot and it was a great *peaceful* task. Took some patience to hold the pieces together but we managed and the result is quite beautiful.
Note: don’t smash your crockery before you go, they can help smash it so it’s easiest to repair”
“Rashmi was such an amazing teacher! So patient and informative and fun to work with. We all agreed that this was the best Class Bento workshops we've ever been to!”
“We really enjoyed our class - a great mix of theory and practice, and nice pottery to use for those who don't bring their own. Our teacher was very good, providing lots of guidance and information. Would definitely recommend.”
“I had an excellent introduction to Kintsugi and thoroughly enjoyable experience learning the craft.
Rashmi was a fabulous teacher … taking us through the history of kintsugi … I got to smash my plates (twice the first time I smashed too well into too many pieces) … she taught us how to mix the resin/gold, glue them together and then beautify. She then gave us all carry bags to take our creations home in a safe way. Highly recommend.”
“Class run by an amazing teacher and cafe had such a lovely vibe to be creative in. We learnt the history of kintsugi, got to smash our plates, mix the resin/gold, glue them together and then beautify. She shared great tips and tricks for doing the craft at home and then gave us carry bags to take our creations home in a safe way. Looking forward to finding a special spot for my pieces.”
