Modern Kintsugi Workshop Reviews

I really enjoyed my afternoon learning to mend broken Crockery. The teacher spoke of patience and order as being a skill honed in this class. I look forward to tackling some broken treasures on my own with confidence.

The teacher was very entertaining and the class was great. Spent most of the time doing, which suited me! We used a gift voucher for most of the cost and it was a great incentive to get us doing something different

A fun way to slow the pace and create. Small group means everyone has the attention they need. A fun creative session.

Very fun class, teacher was excellent and gave the perfect guidance throughout - best of all you get tools to take home and do it all again

The topic and outcomes of the workshop are good, but the format/ structure is a bit more freeform than I'd expected. We were given a brief demo of the steps (about 10min), then the rest of the time was self directed. I'd expected a little more framing about the history and practices, so we could really experience the kintsugi approach. After a while, it felt like I was just glueing a plate together solo, which I could do from home using a YouTube tutorial. Structuring the workshop to be more of a shared experience would've increased my enjoyment for the price paid.
