“Quick intro to using the pottery wheel, which I was intrigued about. We were given three chances (three pieces of clay) and I was able to work on all three. I made three pieces of something that will become microwaveable earthward. After you finish, they glaze them and bake them for you. I’ll pick up my pieces in a few weeks.
I ended up splattering clay all over my clothes (I was the only one), so wear clothes that you’re ok with getting dirty, including shoes.
Making something is not as hard as I thought. The most difficult part was making the thing taller without ruining it.”
“Lisa was an amazing, patient and very kind teacher, especially for two beginners who weren’t sure what they were doing. The class was instructive and fun. Would recommend and return!”
“As a Mother's Day gift, I signed my mom and I up for this class. We had a such a great time! Our teacher, Kaytea, was attentive and had a great sense of humor. She was also super caring and made sure each person in the class was able to succeed at making a few pieces. My mom and I had the best time and would absolutely love to take another class with Kaytea!”
