“We had an amazing time during the Intro to Wheel Throwing Seize the Clay! It was an excellent date idea and a good introduction to wheel throwing. Our teacher was a super effective communicator, patient, and really helpful during the entire class. My only recommendation is that since the studio opened up more spaces for the class, since the class is a popular activity for Valentines Day weekend, they should have lengthened the class by at least 15-20 minutes due to it taking longer to get through set up, the cylinder creation first half of the class, and clean up. Overall, I would recommend this to all of my friends and family.”
“This class was so fun and surprisingly calming. My husband and I were first- timers so Lisa was the perfect instructor. She was very warm, welcoming, and gave very helpful guidance. It was great to learn and create something new. Plus being at the wheel and molding the clay with each turn forces you to stay present and focus on the moment. Highly recommend this class with Lisa.”
“Erin was great! Clearly very experienced, so she knew the right level of instruction to give so that the class moved along but we still got to do things ourselves.”
“Was my first time trying pottery so I had absolutely no idea what to expect. I was a little nervous at first, but the class was an intro to pottery intro to the wheel and the instructor just kept it very simple. I had a great time. This is definitely harder than I expected. Requires a lot of patience, but I’m really excited to see how my balls came out. I would definitely recommend this workshop for anyone that just wants to try something new perfect for a date night a friend activity or even going solo just because you want to try a new activity to see if it might be a new hobby you wanna pick up.”
“I loved it! I laughed, I almost cried when my piece collapsed. Jason was knowledgeable, encouraging, patient. It was a full class and that made it even more fun. Parking was rough but I found a parking garage about a 10 min walk away, and had an amazing dinner at La Corneta Taqueria before. I can’t wait to try again.”
