“I finally decided to take a class to learn this daunting skill! I had so much fun. The teacher was the perfect first teacher to have for this class. She shared her experience of her early days and is very good at providing steps and instructions that are very easy to understand. My friends and I enjoyed it so much we are thinking about taking a second class to reinforce what we learned. I highly recommend this class to anyone who doesn't mind getting dirty with clay and wants to make something and have fun with it. There is absolutely no judging!”
“First time taking a pottery class but it's always been on my bucketlist. So glad I finally did it, such a fun experience! We had Ann Marie as our instructor, super helpful, friendly, and made everything feel easy to follow. I had a great time learning the basics of wheel throwing and clay, and I can’t wait to see how my pieces turn out once they're finished. Would definitely recommend to sign up if you're a beginner like me!”
“This class was so much fun. I cannot wait to visit sf and again and take another class with Jason. He was a great teacher. It was my first time on the wheel and with Jason’s help I was able to make quite a few pieces. Arrive early to find parking and honestly the clean up isn’t that bad I wouldn’t pay the extra fee to avoid it. If you are visiting from out of town just know your pieces will not be ready to take home on the same day. They have to fire and glaze your pieces so they’ll email you to come pick them up. He said usually takes a week.”
“Our teacher was Victor and he was amazing! It was my first time sitting near a pottery wheel. I made 3 things I’m pretty happy with! I was expecting the clay to go flying off the wheel and hit other people like the movies, but I felt like a pro in only 2 hours because of the constant instruction. My friend and I want to sign up for classes now.”
“So so so fun! I’ve never done pottery before but Jason made it so fun and easy. He’s so nice and helpful. There were some beginners there for the first time and some people who were part of an ongoing class so we had a chance to see people of different levels doing different projects at all different stages which was really inspiring. My husband and I did the class as a date night and now we have new set of bowls that we can use at home! We can’t wait to go back to make plates too.”
