With a slow charge, waiting for a green light suggests a long battery life: it does not last a long time. Too bad it does not accommodate spare batteries.
After a short learning curve, the single control button is manageable. When ready, a session opportunity may be missed if your eyes wander, and you miss the ready indicator. Try twice at 428°F and then at 446°F to produce nice smooth strong cool vapor. For some, the four lower temperatures may be a waste of time.
Cleaning takes a little work, but that is expected and not difficult. Remember to poke the holes at the bottom of the chamber, too. (Hey, read the directions.)
The size of the unit is wonderful to hold or carry. It has a nice shape, with no plastic or glass stem to break. Do not overtax the lid’s hinge: it would be nice if it opened 180° instead of only 90°. The “shovel” extension for filling the chamber is a nice idea that help a bit.
Available in discrete gray or black, it doesn’t offer silly color schemes. The chamber size is reasonable for one person. This is a decent low-cost herb vaporizer. Spending four times as much for a slightly better experience would be a waste of money. The unit is not bulletproof and will ultimately fail, but Cloudious9 stands by their 12-month warrantee. If it lasts a year, think $6/per month. If it lasts years, even better!

“i have a higher priced vape from another well know company but i thought what the heck and bought this. i am so glad i bought the atom9, it out preforms the higher priced ones by a lot and i just wished i bought this one first. a couple weeks into using it, i broke the lid hinge (totally my fault) and bought another. i had messaged customer service to find out if the lid could be fixed.....it couldnt but they sent me another absolutely free !!.....going to save to get the nx next and this is the only company for me now...5 star product and customer service”
