“I own two Cloudius9 devices. They are well designed, manufactured and easy to use and maintain as well. My only suggestion is to include multiple replacement "O" rings for the cylinder base and suggest applying a very small amount of petroleum jelly to seal both ends of the cylinder to prevent water leaks.”
“The delivery took a while because I think it was a cross-country endeavor (?)
The packaging is exceptional, maybe too much so if those costs are passed along to the end user. I paid $250 for the 'Holiday Bundle'. The product leaked out of the box (glass v. plastic cylinder) but the extra tube provided solved that. It took a little time and attention to familiarize with the operation of product. The oven being on the bottom and not being able to invert while filled with water, make this a home-use only device, but it's innovative nonetheless. I still need a 2nd more portable, more discreet unit. It's a novel idea and operates fine, I wouldn't really rave about it to anyone because of the cumbersome operational requirements of this product but hey, it works. thanks.”
“I don’t like the flower bowl location. You have to empty the liquid before packing it every time or some drops will leak out while you pack it. I love the different heat settings and the maximum flavor of the herbs I’m vaping plus the different liquids you can place in the reservoir - wine, juice, water sky is the limit.”
“Im not sure if I received a damaged vape or not but it does leak. Everything is secured tightly and I even add the proper amount of water. Like i said, im not too sure if this vape is defective, but for this, I rate it a 3.”
“The hydrology is one of two vaporizer/water filtration units I found out on the market. The other one is the Puri5, and that one just comes with an attachment that holds the water (no design revolutions there...). The stirring feature is a simple yet critical upgrade to vapes. Let me stress this wonderful feature, because you need to imagine yourself watching a movie or playing a video game, and needing to mix your bowl around with as little attention to it as possible. THIS makes it possible. Brilliant!!
My only reservations lay with the battery life and the air flow. I'm not sure if I got one of the older models ( I read that some customers had old versions with different airflow capabilities. I really think customers should be awarded more recent versions if the design upgrades basic functionality features. We invested in your idea!! This should be the case until you get the design totally solid) but my unit will only last through TWO sessions (each one having 15-20 hits at varying temps) and then it has been taking me 4 HOURS to get fully charged!!!! Really ruins the experience. And you NEED to deplete the battery and give it a full charge to maintain the health of those types of batteries, ESPECIALLY since the Hydrology doesn't have a replaceable battery..It is key that we maintain the battery so it lasts as long as possible. So I will be reaching out to the company to see if I can get a replacement because this must be a defective battery. If that is the case, the only other issue is with airflow. Online reviews suggest that here are two locations where you can adjust the airflow, but I only found one (on the bottom, a ring with two holes surrounding the bowl) and I found no difference in flow after I adjusted it. Again, maybe I have an older unit and don't know it. Regardless of airflow however, each hit is really strong and if you take too much it will definitely get you coughing (the good kind of cough) so I found that taking smaller hits will provide the same wonderful 'altitude rise' without the coughing. I really hope this review helps the next person decide to invest in this product! It's a great experience and you can definitely tell by the smell that the water is filtering stuff out. I will update this review (or write a new one) when/if I hear back from Cloud9 regarding the defective battery. Until then I'm giving it a low score of 2 stars because the battery issues really render it useless. Vape on!”
