Stopped in LA for a couple of days and bought this coffee and when I got home it was very likely the best cup coffee I've ever tasted. I am quite the coffee snob but this one really was a home run. I've been roasting my own green beans for several years and had basically wrote off buying anyone else's coffee. But as I was walking through their store I saw their selection and thought I'm going to try a couple of these. I'm so glad I did and now I am buying their finished beans and preferring it over my finished beans.

The coffee is great. I only wish there was a way to contact/communicate with someone from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. I have tried numerous times by multiple emails and calling various phone numbers. I want to cancel my membership and am at a loss as to how to do so. Please contact me.

Excellent taste with minimal acidity. Shipped promptly. Only a couple of problems: no way to contact them because first 1 lb. went to wrong address and, secondly, I was charged a delivery fee even though my order was over $65.

The Papua New Guinea is advertised as medium roast but is a medium dark roast with the distinct flavor of charcoal which I do not like. It was roasted approximately 5 1/2 months before it was shipped and had lost a lot of its flavor. My experience is that coffee needs 3 or 4 days after it is roasted to finish the roasting process and needs to be consumed by about 3 weeks after it is roasted. (I have my own roaster but prefer to buy my coffee already roasted so I don't fill up my kitchen with smoke from the roaster!) I would buy Papau New Guinea coffee again if I could get the coffee roasted to order and roasted medium to medium light roast. I have been buying Papua New Guinea coffee since 1978 and it is my favorite coffee. Then, I would order it from Peet's in San Francisco back when Peet's was a single store and before it was bought out by a large corporation and stopped producing delicious coffee. Great flavor, no jitters, drink it black and taste is divine. Splash of sweet cream coffee creamer and taste like heaven, only coffee I will drink!

The absolute best flavor, and coffee, I've been drinking it exclusively since 2010. I simply will not drink any other coffee. Please never run out!
