We want to make sure you not only get your composites THOROUGHLY CLEAN, we want to make sure you understand how to generally SPEND LESS TIME & MONEY, in the future, keeping composites clean. Corte-Clean® is proven to do this when used "at least twice yearly, spring & fall, or when stains appear" at the "routine cleaning" reduced "up to" 1/2 strength. If mold stains are returning, you are waiting too long to proactively Corte-Clean®, and likely wasting more time, labor and money than necessary! See how little Corte-Clean® can be proactively used to save. THis has the added benefit of being more ECO Responsible!

Corte-Clean® is the most recommended solution for deep cleaning Composite Deck, Dock & Fence of all common stains, NOT JUST those caused by MOLDS. Say goodbye to mold & mildew stains, black spots, grease, oil, rust and more with out the need to expensively purchase and laboriously use multiple non-compatible poisonous and/or corrosive to structural metal cleaning chemicals, especially those that contain oxalic acid or sodium hypochlorite, the active biocide in chlorine bleach which OSHA DOES NOT RECOMMEND FOR MOLD & science by Oregon State University has proven to be ineffective from the wood of which most composites are partially made. Don't be another sucker for "The Chlorine Bleach SCAM"!!!

Good product. We used it to clean our old composite deck before painting. It did a good job.

Thank you for the review! Painting composites isn't such a great idea. Composites are generally made from plastic and wood fiber. Most paints are sold in plastic lined containers because paint doesn't adhere to plastic very well if at all. Composites expand and contract as they are heated and cool by exposure to the elements. Generally, within a very short time, the paint begins to weather or crack/peel off composites. This can look very ugly! Moisture gets under the paint which can exacerbate mold issues. One then generally needs to get an expensive paint striper and laboriously remove the remaining paint. This can permanently damage the composite while making it cost more time and money to clean in the future. We HIGHLY suggest testing paint on a small inconspicuous area or preferably a scrap or sample of the composite and let it weather before doing the whole composite deck. If you are happy with the long term results, have at it. You likely won’t be and this info will save you much wasted time, money and labor. This has been my experience of almost two decades in the composite decking industry.

Corte Clean worked extremely well. Our composite deck had quite a bit of mildew from this past winter so it took a lot of scrubbing with a brush to come clean. We are older folks and without the assistance of our son, we may not have been able to achieve the great end result. We had tried other products but none worked as well as Corte Clean.

Thank you for the 5 STAR REVIEW! In the future, if you don't want to do “a lot of scrubbing with a brush” please consider proactively using Corte Clean, “at least twice yearly, spring & fall, or when stains appear”, as this is how it was designed and intended to be used. Are you aware that most composite manufacturers have recommended this too? Proactively Corte Cleaning composites generally saves TIME & MONEY too. It is a best practice to proactively use Corte Clean, preferably before composites receive moisture and stains appear, especially those caused by mold, or other stains are allowed to saturate into composites. This is why the Corte Clean label directions state “When Corte Clean no longer becomes dirty or discolored, it can be diluted & allowed to dry on weathered composite surfaces. Corte Clean is designed to continue to clean any time it receives moisture. A white residue may remain until thoroughly rinsed. Thoroughly rinse prior to using.” The best way to “thoroughly rinse” is to allow the natural moisture to do this, saving time. This can be done in any temperature, day or night as long as the composites are thoroughly dry. When proactively using Corte Clean, it should be used at “up to 2.5 scoops for routine cleaning” per “1 gallon of water”. Using Corte Clean at half strength or less, saves approximately ½ the money. While Corte Clean doesn’t always have that instant cleaning effect, that we all love, generally, customers will walk out on their composites after they receive moisture and it is thoroughly clean. Please call us if you wish to thoroughly discuss, as we love saving our customers time and money keeping composites clean of all common stains, including mold & mildew, grease & oil, rust & tannin, and more. We had to apply 4 times to get a reasonable cleaning of the deck.

Thank you for the review! Wow! Your deck must have been extremely neglected with deep stains if you "had to apply" Corte Clean "4 times", as this is why the Corte Clean Label directions state " Water magnifies stains. If stains are still visible, repeat application process. Composites that have tough stains, been neglected or previously cleaned with other products and/or sealed may require several applications & additional Corte Clean" Not sure what you mean by "reasonable"? If you didn’t get your composites thoroughly clean, you likely needed to “repeat” the Corte Clean “application process” again. Railure to remove mold stains or other common fungus stains generally results in the stains returning sooner rather than later and is generally a waste of time and money. Hopefully you applied a final application. This is why the Corte Clean label directions state “When Corte Clean no longer becomes dirty or discolored, it can be diluted & allowed to dry on weathered composite surfaces. Corte Clean is designed to continue to clean any time it receives moisture until thoroughly rinsed. A white residue may remain until thoroughly rinsed (use a brush if necessary). Thoroughly rinse composite prior to using.” The best way to thoroughly rinse is to apply Corte Clean proactively before composites receive moisture from rain or snow. In the future, should you decide to hopefully spend less time and money cleaning your composites, you should “Use Corte Clean at least twice yearly, spring & fall, or when stains appear” at the “up to 2.5 scoops for routine cleaning” to “1 gallon of water” strength, as stated above. One simply applies Corte Clean in any condition, day or night and allows the natural moisture to rinse. This generally costs 2/3rds less time and approximately ½ the money in Corte Clean. Save yourself time and money! Additionally, your neglected composite deck likely has weathering issues where the stains have blocked our sun from evenly bleaching/fading/weathering your composites. Not to worry, the sun will even out the weathering issue in the coming months. Please see www.corteclean.com or call us if you wish to thoroughly discuss! (415) 924-9500 X 1

What a great product. We have TimberTech decking that is 9 years old and thanks to Corte*Clean it now looks new again. The directions are simple and all claims about the product are right on. I have used other cleaners prior that weren't as effective as Corte*Clean. Thanks Corte*Clean, Bob Saffert Stone Lake, Wi.

Thank you for the review! As you have seen, Corte Clean will clean neglected or not properly maintained composites. However, Corte Clean is really designed to be used proactively, “at least twice yearly, spring and fall, or when stains appear.” Proactively Corte Cleaning composites in this fashion, as most composite manufacturers recommend, generally costs less time, effort & money/Corte Clean. When Corte Clean is proactively used, it is used at the “up to 2.5 scoops” strength for “routine cleaning.” When routinely Corte Cleaning, one simply applies Corte Clean to a “thoroughly dry” composite surface, preferably before composites receive moisture from rain or snow and stains appear or are allowed to deeply saturate in any temperature, day or night. As long as “Corte Clean no longer becomes dirty or discolored, it can be diluted & allowed to dry on weathered composite surfaces. Corte Clean is designed to continue to clean any time it receives moisture. A white residue may remain until thoroughly rinsed.” This has been proven to keep composites clean at the lowest possible cost, or all common stains, including mold & mildew, grease & oil, rust & tannin, etc. with the least amount of time and effort. Obviously those composites that receive routine moisture, or are in shaded areas, where “mold spores” exist, as predicted by The Weather Channel, or for those composites where people, pets, other animals, trees drip, track or spill items on composites will likely need to proactively more often. Example: Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter. Only the owner of composites will know how often they need to proactively clean their composites. This is no different than keeping toilets, showers, roofing, siding, windows, concrete, vehicles, etc. clean. Please let us know if you wish to further discuss. (415) 924-9500 X 1
