“Whilst I think the hood is excellent value, I have purchased a number of these, they are light weight and easy to install. This is the second one recently that has arrived with damage on the filters, the packaging wasn't damaged so I have to assume they were damaged during packing, on both occasions I have managed to straighten them to an acceptable quality. The only other issue I have is the blue film on the stainless steel takes almost as long to remove as the hood takes to install.”

“Great quality hood, powerful fan almost identical to several branded ones I've fitted before. Manual is crap. Semi rigid duct supplied is perfectly serviceable and a nice touch. Carbon filters reduce flow but still adequate. However I had access to an outside wall and decided to vent it that way in the end. Chimney fits a system 204 adaptor but may not fit a 225. Maybe a factor for those without direct access outside. Chimney also a bit short for mounting at 650mm from hob. Probably should be 100mm longer. Over makes I've experienced have the same issue. The gap won't bother me and in some modern homes the length supplied will be adequate.”
