“Loving the nutrition and taste, very easy on the stomach and good replacement for sticky gells, would have preferred a 600 mil soft flask though”

“I bought this pack as a trial for my nutrition and hydration plan for the GCM22 42.2 km. I will admit that the tropical fruits flavour was not my favourite; overly sweet for my palette, tasting like salty fruit tingles. I did like the pear flavour, with the sourness cutting nicely through the sweetness. Lemon lime flavour had a very traditional electrolyte taste. After a season of trail running I like the idea of continuous hydration and nutrition. It makes for a smoother run. I am not sure I fancy carrying everything with me from the start for a marathon though. If I make use of Fixx at the 5 km refreshment stations, at my pace I calculate I will need to supplement with one gel every hour. Could work.”

Hi Niki, thanks for your review of our Marathon Pack. We were sorry to hear you found the Tropical too sweet. Just to make you aware, the correct mixing ratio for the 250ml Soft Flask is just half of one sachet. If the full sachet is mixed with only 250ml of water the product will be very sweet. We do also have a Nude - Unflavoured option as well as Matcha Green Tea which are less sweet. All the best for your training!

Hi Sean, great to hear you were very happy with the taste and quality of the Fuel X. The soft flask just needs to be used 1-2 times before the nozzle softens up. Please keep in mind it is not a normal drink bottle and is designed to be leakproof, even when squeezed in the hand. For liquid to flow you do need to apply a bit of pressure with your teeth/mouth.
