I received a hamper as a gift. I complained as the scones were awful. I was offered a replacement which I ordered. Scones equally as dry and crumbly as before. When I pointed this out I was told they’d have a word with their head baker!!!

Hi Maureen, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the scones you received. As a family-owned business, we take huge pride in producing quality bakes using natural, premium ingredients, and when our customers speak — we listen. Passing feedback like yours directly to our bakery team is not dismissive; it’s exactly our goal. It means your comments will be reviewed by the very people who create our recipes and can make improvements for the future. -Customer Experience Team

It's all a bit grim really. The best part is probably the little brownies. The scones are rock hard and warming them in the oven per the instructions is essential, but even then they are challenging. They used to use Rodda's clotted cream, but now it is in long life little jars and is really quite nasty in taste and texture. The iced sponce slices are mostly sugar and too sickly to eat. The breakfast tea is in an unwanted plastic (nylon?) bag. Won't be bothering again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We're really sorry to hear that your experience missed the mark. That’s never what we want, especially when someone is excited to try our bakes. We’re proud of what we make and the ingredients we use, but we know not everything will be right for everyone. Your thoughts on the scones, clotted cream, and tea are really helpful, and we’ve shared them with the wider team to take a closer look. If you’d ever like to give us another try, we’d love the chance to do better. You can always reach us at hello@cutterandsquidge.com and we’ll be happy to help. Cutter and Squidge Team 🍰

I thought the scones were very ordinary and didn’t last a second day. The jam was tasty and plentiful. The clotted cream was very mean. I had to buy extra. The cakes were nice. Overall I thought it was expensive for what you got.
