“This was part of an order placed for a friends birthday. The majority of the order was thrown out as the cakes etc were very dry. I have complained twice and am still waiting to hear from you regarding the disappointment. May be this review will trigger a response.”
Hi Chris, thank you for your review. We are sorry you we unhappy with your order. We bake our products fresh daily, use all natural ingredients and make product quality a priority. The cakes should be served at room temperature and which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. We are not sure if it had been stored in the fridge, but this might explain the dry cake layers. Unfortunately we are unable to locate any communication from yourself regarding this. “I ordered the afternoon tea for a friend who was leaving her job and she was blown away by how lovely and delicious it was! She sent me some photos and everything looked amazing. Although the box was for 2 - she said that her, her husband and 2 kids enjoyed the delicious treats over a couple of days as there was loads. I'd also like to specially mention Sam from the customer service team who has been a star. I'd definitely recommend Cutter and Squidge as they are fab!”
